Have It Sold entrepreneurship symbol

Introduced by Hidden Edge Industries

A Symbol for the Entrepreneur

Our goal is to make this a universal symbol for entrepreneurship: a recognizable mark for people who create possibility, accept intelligent risk, and see what others miss.

It is an ambition, not a claim of recognition. Hidden Edge Industries is at the beginning of earning that meaning through the book, the software, and the work of the entrepreneurs who use the method.

Four ideas, one mark

What the symbol means

Infinity — Endless Possibility

Entrepreneurs combine ideas, assets, information, technology, relationships, and timing to create possibilities that did not previously exist. The infinity form represents that open field of combinations: not certainty, but the ability to keep finding another path.

Yin and Yang — Risk and Reward

The two eyes hold the balance between risk and reward, speed and patience, confidence and caution, buying and selling, certainty and uncertainty. The goal is not to eliminate risk. It is to understand the downside clearly enough that the possible upside justifies taking it.

The Eye — Seeing the Hidden Edge

An entrepreneur notices what other people miss: a buyer nobody contacted, an overlooked asset, better information, an unusual deal structure, useful automation, better timing, or an alternative exit. The eye represents disciplined attention to that hidden advantage.

Upside Down — Reverse the Deal

The mark is intentionally inverted because Have It Sold reverses the traditional model. Instead of Buy → Hope → Find a Buyer, begin with demand, establish the exit, price every cost, and only then decide whether to buy.

The Have It Sold philosophy

Work backward from the exit

Find the Buyer → Verify the Exit → Calculate Every Cost → Set the Maximum Safe Buy → Then Buy

The buyer-first method changes the first question from “What could this sell for?” to “Who buys this, what will they pay, and what evidence supports that exit?” Have It Sold then totals the real costs and shows the maximum safe buy before capital is committed.

The book teaches the Moneyball approach. HaveItSold.com runs it with deal analysis, sourcing, buyer matching, the Buyer Book, conservative exits, AI, and automation. Hidden Edge Industries is the broader pursuit of overlooked advantages, asymmetric opportunities, better information, and unconventional ways to create value.

Infinite possibility. Balanced risk and reward. The ability to see the hidden edge. The willingness to reverse conventional thinking. That is what the symbol represents, what Have It Sold represents, and what entrepreneurship looks like to us.
